NO it means they no longer sell complete PC's, it has nothing to do with their memory! If you read the article, it was not even the same company! "Micron Electonics, with a 60 percent ownership by chipmaker Micron Technology, will concentrate on Web-hosting services". The chipmaker still exist!

Just makeing sure. 60% is a lot of ownership, a lot can happen when that much ownership changes there plans. I am glad cuz I plan on buying Crucial PC2100 if it is released before I build my system. If not Ill get some other brand for temporary, like samsung or something.

Yes, BUT the company with 60% ownership (Micron Electronics) did not even go out of business, they just quit making PC's and are going to be selling something else. Besides, even if they did fold, they would simply sell of their stock in Micron Technology to repay their debts.
