hey guys, i have just started a new build, and when i connected all the parts together, and plugging everything in (no mistakes made) once powered on, the lights start up on the motherboard and my graphics card fans start however my cpu stock fan doesnt start, it is connected properly, i have sent it back and asked for a replacement, also the graphics card/integrated video does not send any video to my monitor, when my replacement cpu comes, should there be any other problems?

Actually i am thinking your mobo is dead and no chance that it can damage any component. Do you have mobo speaker? If yes, then do you hear any error beep code? It could tell your hardware problem. And reseat ram again properly. Without ram there will be no display.
