Hi guys,
On Friday I finished building my new computer (my first build) and ever since I installed the ATI Vision Engine Control Centre (and all the other stuff that comes with the installer), my games have been crashing a lot. Today alone it has crashed 5 times. Each time the screen goes black, any audio being played stops and loops and if I try to tab out or use any keyboard shortcut I know (ctrl+alt+del, alt+f4), nothing happens. The only way for me to get out is to hard reset by pressing and holding down the on/off button on my case until the computer shuts down.
It is really starting to annoy me, I'm trying to play Starcraft II and every time I finish a campaign mission and the summary screen loads, it crashes. I have installed Catalyst Suite 11.11, then a friend recommended I try 11.5, so I installed that and then after a mission on SC2, it crashed again.
I would attach my DxDiag, but I cant find the upload button
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My system specs are;
AMD FX-4100 Quad Core Processor @ 3.6GHz
8GB Corsair RAM
ATI Radeon HD 6870 1GB
750W OCZ Fatal1ty Power Supply
320GB Samsung SpinPoint HDD
ASUS M5A78L mATX Motherboard
