I plan to purchase within the next week and my budget is about 230$.

Currently playing all the most recent games such as Crysis 2, Batman Arkham City, Battlefield 3, Skyrim and so on...
I also do rendering on software such as Autodesk's Maya(mostly just animating) and sometimes I work with Autodesk's Mudbox.

I currently own 2 EVGA GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked Edition 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express
2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

Power Supply: CORSAIR 850W ATX12V 2.2 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply

CPU: Intel Core i7 920 2.66GHz 8MB Processor with a COOLER MASTER V8 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler
Also: OCZ GOLD 2GB DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 Memory -total=12GB

Currently got a new monitor, a 26" at a native resolution of 1920x1080

I want to be able to have no issues running my games and to be able to put them at max settings. Currently battlefield is pretty much at medium settings and runs stable enough with an average 0f 40 FPS. I have some trouble with skyrim at the highest settings, sometimes FPS dips down into the thirties. It would also be nice to be able to have DX 11 features in my games and see what all the fuss is about.

Currently looking at this GTX 560ti from Newegg.

Just curious if it would be worth it to upgrade to this card for the performance over my 2 GTX 260's, especially since I have the money now and I feel like its time to upgrade since I've had those 2 cards for about 3 years now.

For $200 your not going to find much of a performance increase from a GTX260 SLI.The card I would think about upgrading to,the GTX560ti, shares the same performance so it's not worthwhile.Your going to have to with at least a GTX570 to make it a worthwhile upgrade.I suggest holding out a couple more months for the new cards to hit the market and get one of those.
