Will this case fit my GFX card?

Solution

Sorry for the confusion. The Antec 300 is 8.1 inches wide and a Hyper 212+ will fit; there is the still the possibility of the side fan being an interference.

Sapphire states that their HD 6870 is 245mm and that is 9.84 inches (updated with edit); it will fit into the 690II. The 212+ is actaully 6.25 inches tall, but your case is 8.4 inches wide so the Evo will fit. NOTE: Standard 120mm/140mm fans are just under an inch thick and placing a fan in the upper slot on the side panel will likely interfere with the 212+ Evo. In other words you can use the 212+ or a side fan in the upper slot on the side panel...I'd go with the 212+.

Edit: Linked to the correct version of the Sapphire HD 6870. The card is slight longer at 9.84 inches, but will still fit.

I was asking if the Antec 300 would fit the card, not the 690II. The 690II is just my current case, which I'd have gotten if the card didn't fit in the Antec. Only clarifying, but thanks for answering it indirectly.

What would you guys suggest for a better fan? I heard the 212 Plus is about the same as the EVO, so I want to upgrade from the EVO. I'm hoping to OC my 2500k to 4.3-4.5GHz.

I've used the Antec 300 and just bought the Cooler Master yesterday from newegg. The Cooler Master is quite roomer than the Antec. The Antec is a good budget case but lack the cable management of the Cooler Master. At $50 after MIR the CM 692 is a excellent buy.
