i installing i5 processor but task manager display 2 processor only

there is some dual core i5's, do you know the specific model?

hi,

i bought this laptop two month back. during that time i have checked set affinity in task manager that time its displayed 4 processors. but now its display only 2 processors, why this variation...

check in the bios the cpu has hyperthreading. if it turned off you only have the two phisacall core left.
