I currently have an Alienware m17x-r2 notebook. For over a year I never really had a problem running games that pushed my graphics card to the max. I started to play Rift, off and on, and everytime I played my card will peak out a very hot temps. I have seen temps up to 97 degrees celsius. Now, I do have 2 that are crossfired, but I never was able to engage the 2nd in playing rift. But thats a different story.

My question is, do I need to have my notebook repasted?

Thanks for the help!

ya after the year of use i blow out tons of dust from my laptop

Used toothpick to stop fan from spinning and used air compressor from shop.
Thou compressed air from can will work as well.
Dust will make fan work hard all the time and overheat when there is demand on cpu/gpu
