I Have a HP G62 456TU laptop Computer, with these specification's
Intel Core i3-370M 2.4 ghz
2GB ram
500gb hdd
Integrated intel HD graphics

I'm heavy into games and could only afford this for $500 it runs things like COD MW2 on medium graphics, but i want to run GTA IV but it doesnt show up the buildings.

Since i am new to PC's being a former mac user, im wondering if its possible to put a graphics card in over the intergrated graphics, or if by adding more ram it will make games run better

Any Help would be well appreciated

Well ive been planning to upgrade it to eight and it can currently run cod mw, mw2, waw all on medium graphics so would the ram aid at all in the increase of speed? and graphics capabilities

Intel HD is not even a "card" it's built right into the CPU.

Unless your laptop has the option of a graphics card upgrade, I doubt it even has space for one. Normally the Intel HD Graphics are good because they require no space :). Also not sure about the RAM upgrade so I won't respond on that count. You shouldn't expect a $500 laptop to play games very well.. have you tried turning all the settings to low?

Nope.RAM will help but not as much as GPU and unfortunately you can't do anything about GPU
