Why do i have a yellow line going down my computer

i have a yellow line going down my left of my laptop how do i get rid of that

Has anything changed recently (dropped, updated drivers, etc) that could have triggered the problem? Also, what make/model of laptop are we talking about?

You may have damaged the LCD. Is it there from post or does it only appear after the OS loads?

Agreed, if it's there during post and boot then the LCD is damaged otherwise it's driver related.

Could also be a heat issue (overheating GPU that has damaged the motherboard) or a loose video connection (internal). That is why we need to know if anything preceded the issue.

There could also be warranty implications depending on the age of the system in question.

now a days laptop gets increased heat while using.yellow line since 2 days only.is it reparable?can i use in this condition?
