Setting up a second router as an access point

Hello,
my internet provider is telus and they gave me a modem/router combo modelVA-G3810bn/tl and another router a linksys wrt310n and i want to by pass the router built into the modem so my linksys will put out a signal instead as it is faster connection any im using windows seven and mozilla firefox if that matters

Ur gonna have to setup a lan to wan connection and assigning one router( ur modem) az the master router and the linksys as the slave router .... pretty simple just some configuration google router to router.
