Hey guys i am kinda new to gaming tech, but very technically minded.

looking at some high end GPU's, memory, motherboards and CPU's

A fully liquid cooled system
(I hate noise)

- ASUS Maximus IV Extreme -Z

- I7 2600 i dont know what clcok ill get yet.

- Corsair dominator GT 16 GB DDR3 2133 MHz dominator GT

2x gtx 570 1.2gb waterblocked $940

OR

2x gtx 580 3gb waterblocked $1360

will my system bottle necking the 580's?


ALL to run a Dell UltraSharp U3011 30"(2560x1600)
maybe a 50"-60" at some stage. no idea about specs

That memory what you choosed is quad channel. You need dual channel memory and if you need 16GB RAM buy 2 X 8GB and you can upgrade in the future to 32GB RAM. Your CPU will not bottleneck the GPU'S.

Your CPU will not bottleneck the GPU'S.





I saw it advertised with 4 sticks mem in it.
The I haven't read on it cos I thought it was ok.

It's dual memory, just 2xdual channel for the lga2011 board

I am not rly after 16gb. But it looked like it was the way to go.
