The Steam Network

The Steam Network came back online at 3:00 pm EST for any of you gamers out there that care.

They are not talking to much about how they crashed but it would seem that some great amount of packet flooding was going on for the last few days. They shut down and did not crash so they could isolate the offending rug rat and kill him. No victory there for the lamers.

When that F - ing thing goes down it makes many guys wonder wtf is going on.

I called a few guys to see what was up and half of them were trying Steam Installer repairs or removed it and reinstalled it all that of course ripping the guts out of the registry and fragmenting the hard drives. Not good for a gamer. It is hard enough to keep a P.C alive for more then a few days online in games with all the hackers out there.

I have ADMIN control of our server and it is set to ADMIN_IMMUNE to give us some protection but many of the hackers IP numbers we trap with fire wall software and other related scanning programs turn out to be .edu IP numbers in other words College campus IP numbers.

That means the little none ball droppers are sitting in their dorm rooms applying internet hacks they just learned from a College professor an hour ago.

Since the little panty wasters hide behind the campus servers it is very hard to back track them for legal means.

For our CanadianForces server we contacted the system administrator for Boston Campus and obtained the alternating IP/DNS/Router IP's from him THANK YOU great guy and banned all of Boston Campus off from our server.

The little fook wads were hacking peoples XP machines like it was going out of style the only sad thing is now they are on some other server hacking the [-peep-] out of that one and other players computers.

Yes you are right silverpig that is what some of the guys were saying some parts of it were up faster for different locations.
