Additional Comments
I'm buying from that website above exclusively.

I've read recommendations from these 2 places:
http://www.hardware-revolution.com/best-budget-workstat...
- Here, for a $600 entry workstation build, the guy suggests an Intel Core i5-2500, ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3, among others. No graphic card, and it's not needed. I like this in the way it's future proofing the build, the problem is I can't find that ASRock board on that website where I'm buying my parts. I also can't find the PSU, case or cooling.

http://whirlpool.net.au/wiki/rmp_sg_whirlpoolpcs_basic_...
- This is Whirlpool's knowledge base. 2 basic builds, and again, I can't find some components (like ASRock).

So I don't know which ones are good replacements for those, or even if there are better builds, so I'm welcomed to your recommendations and comments.

So USD = $450-$600?

Assuming no graphic card (using onboard graphics) an i3 should do the job on the processor side with no issues + 4gb of Ram (1.5v); Win 7 64 bit; stock cpu cooler; 450w Psu is plenty (Corsiar or other good brand); case - do you have a size restriction? Mobo - If you can get a Z68 series something like:

ASRock Z68M/USB3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

ASRock Z68M/USB3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Model #:Z68M/USB3
Item #:N82E16813157270
Note (Add) $94.99 -$10.00 Instant $84.99

OR

GIGABYTE GA-Z68AP-D3(R2.0) LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Item #: N82E16813128538
$109.99

OR

Intel BOXDZ68DB LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard $115

Hdd: If you are going to have one drive (no SSD at this price level) try to get the best quality you can. The WD Black series is the one I recommend but they are more expensive...500gb or even a 320gb for now?

Hopefully that gives you some feedback and ideas
