hey guys, my friend is building a new pc and everything is slotting into place, seems all fine, we start it up to install windows 7 64bit SP1 and it comes up saying there is not a HDD to install to. so first we go to BIOS and check, it seems fine, the BIOS can see it, so we try again, same thing, my friends gets the drivers and makes a USB bootable windows 7 64 bit SP1 install, and still cant seems to find the HDD. any suggestions?

is it a boistar mobo?
how many harddrives and what type? sata or ide.
new hd or reused?
if you can post your build specs it would be helpful

The HDD is new, and its sata, i can get the spec off him soon, also the HDD is new
