I am going to buy a gpu+psu within $300 budget for my uncle, in our town newegg doesn't supply cause we are in India, here only this Psu is available

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Cooler-Master-eXtreme-Pow...

and i am in dilamma of buying gtx 460 or hd 5850, as i mention in the question the budget is strictly $300 for gpu and psu.

is this psu can run gtx460, he doesn't play games, this gpu for his work, he uses it for maya, adobe master suite,(mostly for premier flash, after effects, and fireworks)

and one more thing which gpu brand u will recommend and why
here is the link http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=E...

in clear form

1)gtx 460 can run on cm extreme powerplus 600w?

2)which brand gtx you will recommend and why?

I am using evga gtx 460 1gb card in my office it is running very well.unfortunately it is not availble now in my town. So
which brand u will recommend and why.

Ps. I have used that psu 1 year back with 5850 and it worked well. but i didn't used on gtx 460.so does it run like butter on bread or fried itself
but i read a review on this psu concluding this psu is nothing but a crap.

please suggest a psu between 50 to 80 usd. if there is chance of corsair it would be delicious.

thank you.

radeon 6950 or gtx 560ti, it all depends on how well maya is optimized for amd or nvidia.

thansk for a quick reply ,muffin but those cards u suggested a lot more expensive for my budget, and he renders maya in 720p resolution. with above normal detailing.

For the GPU I recommend a vanilla GTX 560 and for the PSU I recommend Corsair CX 430.

isn't it 220 for one of those cards and 60 for psu? Extra 20 for shipping. Can't remember but did your uncle get the 2500k system?
