:hello: Hey everyone, I'm wondering if my PSU will be sufficient for my build and specifically, my Radeon HD 6870.

I've checked Here, http://forum-en.msi.com/faq/article/printer/power-requirements-for-graphics-cards and it says 28amps and 500w

My current power supply is an Enermax EG465P-VE
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817194011

The 12v rail is rated at 33amps with total output at 460w

I'll be running
i5 3750k
8gb ram
ASRock z77 Pro4
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157296

7200 500gb hdd
Dvd/rw drive

Will my PSU be sufficient or should i look into a new one?

Solution
By my calculations, the HD 6870 should only draw around 13A at +12V. (155W at max/+12V= 12.9A)
That still leaves 20A on the +12V rail for other components. So, you will be quite safe.
