Will a gtx 560 support this specs

my 9600gt card got dead so need to buy a ood gaming card under budget ..i was using cooler master eXtreme Power Plus 460W psu with this 9600gt card as gtx 560 requires 2 pin connectors i have change the psu to xfx pro 550w..i decided to buy asus dc ii gtx 560..will this card support the below specs..


intel core2duo E8400
(6M Cache, 3.00 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB)
asus P5K-VM
4gb ddr2 memory
500gb seagate 3gbs sata
lg dvd writer.
antec 300 case

are u 100% sure that the processor or ram will not bottleneck the gpu.. the pci version is 1.1 for the mobo..

my 9600gt is not working when i try to switch on my cpu the cpu is not switching on but if i remove my 9600gt and again switch on the cpu the cpu is switching on whats he problem gfx dead or any other problem..psu is cooler master 450w extreme power plus..and gfx is zebronics 9600gt 1gb ddr3

don't worry about the PCI-E version, it won't be of any noticeable difference. Overclock the E8400 to 3.6 by upping the FSB to 400. You will likely not need a voltage increase.

With the E8400 @ 3.6 you will be fine with that video card.

Please keep in mind that some games actually utilize 4 cores now so any game that takes advantage of 4 cores, you will not see the same performance as if you had a quad core, but do not mistake this for a bottleneck.

is amd 6770 power enough to run all games next 3 years on medium settings at 1600x900 resolution..because the money i invest should be atleast for 3 years in use..

im using only stock cooler ..can i overclock to 3.6ghz with a g33 chipset..

You won't need to OC the E8400 for a single GTX560, two yes but one no.

thanks for the answer..and an another final question amd 6770 vs gtx 550ti which to choose want to play battlefield 3 ,arkham city and assasins creed revelations on 1600x900 resolution with medium-high details without any lag.. which should is best among these two cards..

    I wasn't stating that you need to overclock but it would be beneficial to OC to 3.6

    If that 8400 is an E0 revision then you should be able to OC to 3.6 on stock cooler especially if you have one of the E0 8400's that don't require any voltage increase while upping the FSB to 400

    And yes, that motherboard is known to be a decent overclocker.
