G630 vs 455

How is the g630 perform better than the 455 when the 455 has much better specs? This is according to tom's hardware benchmark results. According to PassMark, both the 455 and 450 performs better. But for the sake of this post, we will go by tom's hardware.

g630 - 2.7Ghz Dual-core

455 - 3.3Ghz Triple-core

I always assumed higher frequency and high number of cores, in general, meant better performance. :kaola:

the intel cores may be slower but they move more information per clock cycle because of their architecture. it's like going from point A to point B at 45mph in a straight line or going there through back roads that make you loop around all day at 65mph.

Passmark=HORRIBLE

Grab a G630, you have a much better upgrade path than the 455!
