customizing toolbar

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.customize (More info?)

I have previously cutomized my toolbar by going to START-
> RUN -> msconfig, but now my computer won't go into that
screen. Is there any other way I can get rid of some of
the programs on the desktop toolbar?

Thanks!!!

    Why can't you open msconfig?
