Need help building gaming rig around AMD FX-8120
Approximate Purchase Date: beginning march (after receiving tax refund![:)]( ":)")
Budget Range: $500 max, cheaper the better (+$100 if needed)
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming system built for SWTOR, WoW, and to include future games like Tera, Lineage eternal, Diablo 3, Guild wars 2, and various f2p mmos.
Parts Not Required: OS, DVDRom, Keyboard, CPU, Mouse, speakers, I have a 300w PSU and pretty sure ill have to upgrade that anyway.
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Tigerdirect, Newegg, and Amazon
Country: US
Parts Preferences: Name brands preferred.
Overclocking: Maybe
SLI or Crossfire: Maybe
Monitor Resolution: 1600x900 or 1920x1080 (HDMI input optional)
Additional Comments: This will be used mainly for mmo gaming. i need this to play those type of games at max textures/res/settings (with aa/vsync etc and stuff like that OFF, or optional). With room for other action games like batman:ac, kingdoms of amalur reckoning. also keep in mind of upgradeability.
I'm also leaning towards the GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 for upgrades sake.
I also like the design aesthetics of the black fractal design define r3
And not afraid to ebay parts for now, to meet my needs and to keep the cost down.
I have 3 hard drives for storage, i think they are lower than 7200rpm though, so maybe a nice small boot/os drive would be good (optional)
in the end i need help with the guts of it since i already have the CPU :

Lets try the following. First, I can't recommend anything from AMD right now. Even the Intel i3 blows AMD away. You didn't mention case so I'm going to assume you need one. The 300w psu needs to be replaced. Here we go...
