HD 6950 on Heroeos of Newerth

when playing heroes of newerth im having this error "D3D Fatal error" or when in-game black screen, low fps im using hd 6950 all stock anybody here have the same problem i've tried catalyst driver from 11.6 to 11.11a.b.c.

4gb ram
win 7 utlimate

other gpu tested

9500gt - no problem playing smooth as butter.

Reinstall all the direct x's and make sure you have 64 bit windows and not 32 bit because it could be running out of shared ram between ram and the video card.

im not sure about that my 9500gt with 1gb vram can run this game with no prblem but my hd 6950 with 2gb vram cant? but i will try your suggestion reinstalling directx.

If you have a 2gb vram card it would eat up about 2 gigs of ram from your computer under shared resources if you have 32 bit. 32 bit windows can only address up to 4 gigs total in memory whether its your ram at 4 gb or your video card at 2 gig. You essentially would cut your theoretical usable ram in half with a 2gb card running 32 bit if that helps at all.
