Dual monitor noob

hey guys never had a dual monitor setup but i have a 19inch tv that i never use so i decided to hook it up to my computer. Say i have battlelog for bf3 or just facebook sitting up on the 2nd monitor would that effect my framerate on games like bf3?
i have a gtx 560
and a core 2 duo e8400 3.0ghz

Try it.

I predict you will have no issues at all. What is displayed on the second monitor is relatively static and does not impact the main gaming capabiity at all.

I have two monitors, and do the same thing with no adverse effects.

alright, i didnt think itd have a huge effect considering its mainly just a background program
