New Graphics card

I have a 3 years old computer. I plan to upgrade the graphics card but want to make sure if my MB and power supply can handle it.

Yup, looks good to me. Just make sure the card can fit in your case. It's around 10 1/4 inches long.

For a system using a single Radeon HD 6950 graphics card AMD specifies a minimum of a 500 Watt or greater power supply. The power supply should also have a combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 32 Amps or greater and that has at least two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

Your Corsair Enthusiast Series VX550W (CMPSU-550VX), with its +12 Volt continuous current rating of 41 Amps and with its one 6 pin and one 6+2 pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors is more than sufficient to handle it.
