I've been comparing SCSI cards for the workstation that I'm nikel and diming together. I've noticed that Tekram seems to give me everything I need for a much lower price than Adaptec does. To get two channels, compatibility with a bunch of O/S's, output to internal and external legacy devices as well as external output to newer SCSI devices and cables, I'd shell out over $350.00 for an Adaptec setup, but I can find a Tekram to do the job for $175.00 online. Usually, in the computer world, you get what you pay for, but there's exceptions to this rule. Is this one of those exceptions, or not?
This is actually an exception to the rule. Tekram cards are considered bt many to be just as good. Also, Hypermicro seems to offer some of the best prices and good service on SCSI related hardware.
