PCI-E vs USB Sound card

Hey guys looking for some advice which would be the better sound card one mounted to the motherboard or a external USB one ,
It will mainly be for gaming and I have heard that BF3 / Punkbuster doesn't like PCI-E sound cards ??

Was thinking between

  1. Hello !

First off, the links you provided don't work.

Secondly, I'd go with a PCI-E 1x sound card : You'll have much better lantency and it won't clutter your desk since it'll be in your PC case.

Since I don't know what sound card you chose, I can't advise you as to wheter it's good or not.

However, just so you know, in my opinion the best soundcards are those made by Asus, and the Asus Xonar DX is very well rated.

    Good luck,
