So a friend is trying to sell his gaming PC. I have the idea to buy it off him, take out the parts and sell them separately on eBay. What do you think i should pay? and what do you think i could get?

AMD Phenom II x4 955 Processor 3.2 Ghz

Gigabyte Socket AM3/AMD 890GX/SATA 3.0 and USB 3.0/A&V&GbE/ATX Motherboard GA-890GPA-UD3H

Thermaltake 500W power Supply

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 Graphics Card

4 GB DDR3-2000, PC3-16000. G-SKILL Trident. p/n F3-16000CL9D

regular dvd/cd drive

640gb Hdd

20" monitor

mouse and keyboard

antec 300 case.

I was thinking id offer $350.

Then, i could get roughly

GPU- $55

hdd- $60

mobo - $75

monitor- $80

CPU- $100

case- $30

ram- $25

psu- $40

thats $465.

I wouldn't pay $350 for it if it were for my own use, much less to resell. Maybe something in the $150-$200 range. The 955 CPU seels new at about $20 more than your asking price for the used one. MB can be had new for about $15 to $30 more. You need to check your prices vs new prices. A decent 500W PSU can be had new for very close to $50 if you catch Newegg on the right day. Computers, like cars will lose nearly half their value once driven off the lot. An old saying but many of those parts appear to be about 2 years old.
