New graphics card and drivers

Hello all, recently I purchased a Nvidia GTX 550ti to replace my older gt 230 1.5gb due to it having a blue tint, however I found out later on after I installed graphic drivers for my new graphics card that I had not uninstalled my previous drivers for my older graphics card, will this affect performance at all or did my new drivers uninstall my old drivers anyway? Thanks for reading.

Best practice is to uninstall the previous drivers before you install the new ones.

please uninstall the older version and install newer version

you can try using sweeper programs like driver sweeper to uninstall the old versions.

Sorry again but when I use the phyxion program I am unsure which ones are the old drivers if they are at all present, is there any way to differentiate at all? Thanks.

I don't think there should be a problem since the the graphics driver from nvidia supports both the 230 and 550 card.
