And that's why I don't recommend the Caviar Black right now. That is way too much to pay for a 500GB secondary HD when you can get by with a slower one with higher capacity.

Here you go:

Case: Fractal Design Arc MIDI - $99.99
PSU: Antec High Current Gamer Series HCG-750 750W - $99.99
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3P - $189.99
CPU: 3.30GHz Intel Core i5-2500K - $229.99
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo - $34.99
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 - $69.99
SSD: Samsung 830 64GB - $119.99
HD: Seagate Barracuda Green 1.5TB - $129.99
Optical: Lite On DVD Burner - $20.99
Video Card: EVGA Geforce GTX 570TI - $349.99
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium - $99.99
Keyboard/Mouse: Logitech MK320 - $34.99
Monitor: ASUS VW246H Glossy Black 24" 2ms(GTG) HDMIr - $199.99

Total: $1,660.87

Agreed. Having 3 21.5" monitors would be so much better than 2 24" monitors it wouldn't be funny.

I would suggest putting an Antec TrueQuiet 120 in the front, in either of these cases.
Or whatever you want. Something positively reviewed on SPCR is generally a good idea tho.

Rosewill Capstone 750W 80Plus Gold $120
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182073
The fan in this unit is a Globe Fan RL4Z B1402512M - the M denotes that the maximum speed is 1500RPM.
However other Super Flower Golden Green based units (the NZXT Hale90 750W in particular - my recommendation if you want a modular unit) have had their fan at maximum load measured at lower speeds than that.

Thermalright True Spirit 120 $30 ($13 shipping)

Maximum fan speed is 1500RPM (versus 2000RPM on Hyper 212 Plus/Evo yet gets better temps according to this review. Altho it seems like they tested the EU version whose fan only spins at 1600RPM max.)

Seagate Barracuda 500GB 7200RPM ST500DM002 85$

Total: $1403

An SSD would be useful to eliminate some HDD noises. But I think you would have to cut back on the graphics card to afford it in my build.
