Can't unplug this SATA cable

I've been building systems for a while, but have never encountered this particular SATA cable before. I press down on that little button thing, but it doesn't want to budge! I don't want to risk damaging the SATA port, does anybody know how to unplug this kind of cable?? Thanks!

I think most locking cables lock towards the end of the SATA cable rather than in the middle.
It is possible the locking portion is pretty far in there and the button thing is supposed to control it. If so and if it is failing to do that, you might have to angle something down toward the end of the sata cable and push down.
