Help to get PSU

My pc configuration is as follows :
core 2 duo 2.93ghz
2gb ram
G41 MES2L motherboard
450 W PSU

i am looking 2 buy gts 450 ...

Will i need a new PSU ....

if needed how many watts

You should be fine with the 450 watt psu, as long as it's of decent quality

what brand is that 450w psu and how many amps does it have on the 12v rail? that's what matters the most.

If it's a crappy chinese OEM psu that came with a pre-built PC it most likely won't cut it.
