Placing two gfx cards that aren't compatible with crossfire

hi guys i have 2 video card's one is a HD 6950 2GB DDR5 and the Second one is a HD 6850 1GB DDR5 Wind force Gigybity
Soo i was wondering if i could install them together to improve my pc's gaming performance without using crossfire
