Hi!

I seem to be having a problem with my setup as my 3dmark vantage scores seem pretty low for the hardware I have in my computer:

i5 2500K OC'D with Asrock Tuner to 4.5 ghz
AsRock Extreme 7 Gen 3 MB
16gb G. Skill 9-9-9-24, 1600 ram
EVGA GTX 570 x2 SLI P/N: 012-P3-1570-AR
1000W Rosewill RBR1000-M PSU

Vantage Scores:
GPU SCORE: 20870
CPU SCORE: 23634
P SCORE: 21499

I've tried setting Power Management settings in Nvidia Control panel for 3DMark Vantage to "Performance" which gave a little gain (previously I was getting 13K GPU scores with the setup, after this fix it went up to 20K).

Any help would be greatly appreciated... I just hope I don't have to change a motherboard or something expensive!!!

I'm also notice that GPU usage is pretty low in the GPU-z log.. it hovers at around 50-54%. Perhaps I'm reading it wrong because I can't decipher if its only showing the usage for the first video card or the second, or a combination of both?

That is about what you might expect, or at least reasonably close to what a single 570 would get. Are you sure SLI is enabled?

yep, im sure it's enabled. when i run games and alt tab out to nvidia precision i see both gpus running at 90% load.

i might add that i have both cards running in nvidia surround.. not sure if that's affecting the performance?

For an Nvidia supported score, the CPU score should be MUCH higher if physX was enabled...did you disable PhysX for your test? I'm not 100% sure, but the graphics score may be correct, or close, but that total score is definitely low for an Nvidia setup.

I'm not so sure about his graphics score. Ran mine this morning, on two EVGA GTX 570 Superclocked and got around 36k GPU score (if I was looking at the right place). CPU around 18k though (i5-2500k)

thanks for the update. It's been a while since I ran vantage.
