Sidewinder X4 or BlackWidow Ult. BF3 Ed.

I absolutely want a backlit keyboard and I don't really mind the difference in price. But I want to know, which one would be the smarter pick?

Keyboard selection is a matter of personal taste based on aesthetics & desired functions. In my opinion, the sidewinder has basically the same features as the razer with more keys to boot. The price is more reasonable too. Razer as usual is overpriced. I myself is a Logitech guy & my G15 is still serving me well.
  2. it's wastage of money to spend so much on a keyboard.better go with x4,my dad owns and it's a very good keyboard for it's price and same thing is in the case of mice.g500 is best for it's price.
  3. I have and love this keyboard. The feel is great. Its deactivated at the Egg, but you can find it elsewhere - just google it.

  4. I've got the X4 and I love it, my brother has a razer lycosa which is double the price and prefers mine! It has all the necessary buttons, macros etc at a pretty cheap price, on the other hand the black widow is mechanical so if that's your thing then I would go for that. Either way you wont be disappointed however one will leave you with a hole in your wallet!
  5. i can't really figure out why people like mechanical keyboards?all they do is making tap-tap noise.

I understand it. They have more resistance when you press the keys than non-mechanical keyboards. This has a more appealing feel to alot of people.
  7. but is it worth spending extra $$??
i think no.you may share your opinions.
  8. I do also prefer mechanical keyboards. I rather know if I am actually pressing on my keys. But I found this other keyboard: G110 from Logitech which has piqued my interest.

Because there is a certain sensitivity to the key? Plus, the clack clack doesn't bother me at all.
  11. go ahead bro,it's your choice.
but i won't suggest spending so much on a keyboard.better by somethings useful like a ssd(they are real cheap now) or other stuff.

Yeah I know, my PC already has a 240GB SSD, and like I said in my first post "I don't really mind the price".
  13. then choose the one that suits you best and fulfills all your needs.
  14. One thing I forgot to mention; is it really worth it to get one of those "Advanced Gameboards"? Like this one: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823126050
