Moved computer, gpu doesnt output anymore.

so i moved my computer and i unplugged everything from the case and when i got home and plugged everything in and turned the computer on there was no video. if i plug into integrated video it works but my dedicated doesnt. it did this the last time i moved it but i dont remember what i did to fix it. the gpu is on though as the fans are spinning.

Try unplugging the GPU from the MB and then plug it back and and boot it up. They can be jostled free in transit.

did that. the gpu itself appears to be on. all three fans spin and its getting hot it just wont output video when i plug in my hdmi cord.

I think you have to do something in the graphic's properties and set it to HDMI but I am not 100% sure. Also HDMI cords can go bad when it appears fine. Can you check it with a VGA or DVI? Just a thought.

i got it working by disconnecting everything from the motherboard. i also switched the keyboard from usb 3 to usb 2.... having a flash drive/external can do some funny things sometimes maybe a keyboard can too. or maybe it was disconnecting all the power from the mobo.
