Is my CPU bottlenecking my Graphics Card?

Hey guys I have an AMD Phenom II x4 955 @ 3.8 ghz and a GTX 570. While playing star wars the old republic I will sometimes monitor my gpu usage and it doesn't get to 100% usage. The highest I've seen is go is around 70% usage. I wouldn't normally complain but the game doesn't run at the best that it could. It usually runs around 30-50 fps but sometimes dips to 20-30 whenever I'm in a place with a large amount of people. This is on max settings. Or is it possible my ram is bottlenecking? My ram is 4 gigs of DDR2 800 mhz.

Thanks,

It's possible you're getting bottle necked somewhere. At lot of the MMO games are really CPU intensive so it's certainly not out of the question that either your CPU or RAM are holding you up (seems kind of unlikely though).

My best guess is that the game is brand new and simply hasn't been well optimized yet for all GPU's. Give nvidia a couple of months to get new drivers out and check the performance then.
