I5 2500k £165
Asus p8z68 lx £72
8gb g skill ram £40
Cooler master 212 hyper evo £25
Sharkoon t28 case £60

already bought an M4 ssd

using my current psu, hdd and gtx 560 ti (until the new Nvidea cards come out)

Any suggestions to make it better for a similar price before I buy?

What is the wattage of your current PSU? It should be a minimum of 500 watts.

it's an OCZ 550w, nothing to worry about in this department for the moment!

Is there a Gigabyte/MSI/Asrock board better than the Asus for similar money is the main question, the rest of the items I am pretty happy with! would like it to be Pcie 3.0 and would like sli ready although this isn't essential. Would really like to stay under £100.

Nope, the ASUS P8Z68-V LX is the best motherboard in that price range.
(I'm buying the same one next week.) :p
