Gt 430 1gb vs 4650 1gb

I have a choice between a gt 460 and a hd 4650 and was just wondering which will perform better.

A GT 430 is quite weak, even the DDR3 equipped 4650 will beat it by a bit, the GDDR5 version by a bit more. Take a look at the hierarchy chart to give you a general idea of where their performance lies.

i already have both cards and am planning to use one as a temporary until i have enough for a high end card, so im only wondering which one will serve best until then.
