Colour problem

Hey Guys
My pc was up the entire day, i shut down then restarted it later and the colour was all gone it is basically all green white a bar going down on the middle left. i dropped the resolution and the colour came right. Thing is i had it running on 1680x1050 60Hz all the time. Now I have to run at 1400x1050 anything higher messes up the colour

My monitor is a mecer 23 inch
Graphics card is an afox geforce gt430 1024 ddr3, it supports windows 7 and supports resolutions up to 2048x1536

My suspicion goes against the card failing! Any chance you can try it in a different computer to make sure?

I also think it is that, but what bugs me is why does it work on a lower res ??, non at home will try it at a buds place.

It's possible that it has to work harder at the higher res, and that's where things fail. Check the temperatures with Speedfan or MSI Afterburner.
What are the make and model of your PSU?
