1050 is massive overkill for any build. I try to emphasize energy efficiency over higher wattage .

You might want to take a look at one of these:

On a build like that - even with a power hungry GPU like the 6970 you won't even come CLOSE to using the full 1K watt of the suggested PSU. If you want you can calculate your minimum needed wattage here: http://support.asus.com/PowerSupply.aspx?SLanguage=en

Your Recommended Minimum Power Supply is 750 Watts according to the site. Then if you want to overclock add another 50W, and if you want to SLI or Crossfire, add another 100W - so you're looking at 850 minimum, 900 maximum.
