In the Probably Every Benchmark You'd Ever Need thread, pointed to from this thread, one in-depth benchmarking site that I don't see mentioned on these sticky threads is PassMark. This site is very convenient and easy to use. There are 5 categories for benchmarking, of which can start from this link:

http://www.cpubenchmark.net/

From there, you can change to video cards, hard drives, systems, and mobile devices. Not only does this site provide benchmark scores, it also provides a way to get the most bang for the buck (a price per power ratio). This would be a nice addition to have for the benchmarks list. The thread is closed so I can't add this myself.

It is listed there under:

PassMark Performance Test 7.0
OS: Win2k/XP/2003/Vista/2008/7  Download Homepage Rating: 4/5 - 11Mb
Download 64-bit version for Windows XP/2003/Vista x64
Shareware $24
Performance Test allows you to objectively benchmark a PC using a variety of different speed tests then compare the results to other computers. Twenty-eight standard benchmark tests are available in six test suites plus there are seven advanced testing windows for custom benchmarking.
