What is happening? (it should render faster) More about : 8120 slow | E-mail me updates | Report abuse Register or log in to remove ElMoIsEviL CPUs Expert June 3, 2012 10:09:49 PM Perhaps the PC is locking up (or an App crash)? From results I've seen an FX-8150 is between an i5-2500K and i7-2600K in terms of performance under Cinema 4D. I'd expect your 8120 to perform around an i5-2500K. Does the app show up as "Not-Responding" under Task Manager? | Report abuse melikepie CPUs Expert June 3, 2012 11:00:00 PM ElMoIsEviL said:Perhaps the PC is locking up (or an App crash)? Does the app show up as "Not-Responding" under Task Manager? nope, a 2 object video @ 60 fps slightly higher then 1080p and about 3 seconds long took about a minute so rendering a decent animation will take a VERY VERY VERY long time ): | Report abuse davemaster84 June 3, 2012 11:41:39 PM Try to overclock it, since that kind of work will get the zambezi really hot I also suggest an aftermarket cooler, could be the hyper 212 evo from coolermaster, it's cheap and does the job | Report abuse Related ressources FX 8120 bottleneck? - Forum FX-8120 @ 4.5 GHZ - stable but stuttering? - Forum I5 3570k or FX 6100 or FX 8120 or i5 3470 - Forum Is the AMD Fx-8120 a true 8 core? - Forum Would a AMD FX-8120 (@3.1GHz) bottleneck a GTX 560 2gb? - Forum Ask the community Publish melikepie CPUs Expert June 4, 2012 12:01:17 AM davemaster84 said:Try to overclock it, since that kind of work will get the zambezi really hot I also suggest an aftermarket cooler, could be the hyper 212 evo from coolermaster, it's cheap and does the job I just upgraded from a 212+ to a TPC 812. | Report abuse amuffin CPUs Master June 4, 2012 12:03:21 AM What settings do you have?
