Monitor boots OK then goes to power save mode

Hello,
My LG monitor was working fine today and now it goes into power save mode, this is the behavior:
1. Start the PC computer, I get the loading bios and DO see it in the monitor.
2. Windows starts to load and DO see the windows loading XP logo.
3. Then after a couple second it goes into power save mode.
I have tried the monitor in a laptop and it works fine.
I have also tried to change BIOS settings but everything seems fine.
If the video card isn´t working I just don't understand why I see the initial loading in the screen until Windows logo, apaart that the monitor works fine in a laptop.
Any help would be apreciated.

Hi guys,
Afterthe holidays, i am able to boot in sae mode but don´t see any configuration quirks, power seems fine.
Any ideas to check,no that i am able to go in power safe mode.
