So I have a laptop. It is a few years old, with 2x ati mobility radeon 3870. I noticed that my play in l4d2 was getting a bit choppy so I went through the device manager to see that one of my cards is apparently off. It says:
"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"
When I click check for solutions it says:
"could not load driver software"
I checked the versions installed on both cards, they are the same one so I didn't somehow mix up two versions or anything. I'm guessing the card just died or something but I'm hoping there is a solution.
I did wipe my hard drive a few months ago and don't use this laptop often, the problem could have started then, when I reinstalled new drivers. I'm not sure if that could have anything to do with it. Any suggestions would be great!
