Hey everyone. My old pc is no longer working so I'm looking to build my own. This will be my first build so all help is appreciated. I'm looking for something that can handle games such as Guild wars two, Swtor and wow. I don't need to play them on max setting or anything I just want to play them. I'm only looking to spend 400-600 dollars. I'm looking for at least 6g of ddr3. I want to expand upon the machine when I get more money also. Graphics card can be bought on a later date being I want to get a fairly nice one. Also I don't need: Mouse, speakers, keyboard. Thanks!

As for the case? Is there one on new egg you recommend. Also I'm pretty clueless when it comes to this stuff, I used windows 7 on my old pc. Do you need a operating system like that or does it not matter?

Extra 150 with Os and case is bringing me a bit over if I'm to get that graphics card any time soon. Trying to figure a way to get the price lowerd or atleast take some stuff off and upgrade it in the future. Would like the inital buying price to be 350-440 dollars.

You can transfer the hard drive over, if its still usable, as it has a large storage amount, everything else you can sell but the case & the graphics card if it still works, for backup, as its still good. As for lowering the budget, you can use the built in GPU temporally, as its pretty strong, though in most newer games, you will have to lower the graphics quality a little to get playable frame rates, and with that, the PSU & GPU on the list can be removed, for a total of $364 instead of $604 or you can go with this GPU for $70 + This for the power supply for $70 = $504 total

For the os I found icrosoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit - 68.99
http://www.softwaresupplygroup.com [...] anded.html and also Windows 7 prof for 64 dollars for students. So that should help. With orginal build total comes to 530. If I use my hard drive comes to 420. Which would be great. Question is how likely would the harddrive be bad? Like I said I've been haveing blue screen issues and freezes to the point I'm haveing to get a new pc. Perhaps there's a way to wipe it clean or a way to check it? Also any ideas as to where I can sell the parts. Thanks so much for all your help.

Just use that windows 7 Home Premium Disk you found, and select reformat (** warning **, that will delete everything off of the hard drive) instead of installing right on top of it, if it still blue-screens, then its the hard drive, but if not, then it was the hardware, some sort of incompatibility, or etc. As for recycling your dvd drive, you can, but if its IDE instead of SATA, then its not re-usable on your build, as the board doesn't have support for that.
For selling the parts, I recommend using your local craigslist to sell them, or going to a local computer shop to recycle them

Alright. So when I build my computer and use that hardrive once I start it up and try installing the windows it will give me a option to reformat which will delete everything off my hard drive?

Yes it will - just follow this guide, it will help you reformat the disk, now, if it starts clicking during the format, that means the drive is failing, but if it doesn't, then its something else causing the bluescreens

No problem, always here to help any-time, as my main area to help is hardware, and since I know a good amount about it, especially budget builds, I will be sharing the knowledge with anyone who needs it. I will definitely keep an eye out for any updates then.

He most definitely will, considering the APUs are awesome CPUs for the budget, I run an AMD Athlon II X4 630, and from what I have read, its basically the same, but with graphics built in, and for the motherboard, It has USB 3.0 & SATA III, so its feature packed for a crazy low budget.
