no need to get 12GB of ram, you won't use more than 4-5GB for games and most multitasking, so stick with 8GB. Also, this is a duel DDR ram mobo, so you want to do matched sets of ram in a 2, 4, 8, 16, or 32GB configuration, not 12GB.

Stick with a single GPU that will suit your needs, as multiGPU configs are unnecessarily complex, can cause microstuddering, and are not supported by all games. Running 2 high end cards because a single card cannot do the trick is one thing, but you will not run into such problems until you are doing above 1920x1200 gaming.

Not a huge fan of the FX chips, but they do get the job done. If I understand correctly there will be a product refresh soon where they may fix some of the architectural issues relating to bulldozer which will get them up to speed where they can start beating (or at least catching up to) Intel again, but I would generally suggest looking into an i3/H67 or i3/P67 build before ordering parts.

Keep in mind money for a case, windows, card reader, CPU cooler (if desired)
