AMD cpu prices hit rock bottom

Iv never had an AMD cpu before, but im pretty darn sure these are some very good prices:

x2 6000+ gone from £300 to £155
x2 5600+ gone from £200 to £115
x2 5200+ gone from £150 to £110

Newegg must have that supply/demand pricing. Of course I would never demand a 6000+ for $500!

500 bucks for a 6000 is just plain crazy. Does Newegg make mistakes like that normally? i mean, who in their right mind would pay a price like that? Supply/Demand, well, there was only a demand because of the lower price. QUICK, buy the E6600 before they run short and move the price to 500.00 also!

I was just about to post about how odd the pricing is at Newegg right now. The X2s from 2.8 ghz and above shot up about $150 - $250.

In other news, Corsair XMS2 6400 5-5-5-12 models are $280 and the 4-4-4-12 model is $180. GG.

AMD prices are still going to drop plenty more ... they havnt bottomed out. Desktop K10s are only going to appear late 07, early 08.

Intel is cutting prices 40% in two weeks and by ANOTHER 50% in Q3.

Hence K8s will be cut by at least another 50% before they are phased out.

In fact given that K8s will still be shipped throughout 2008 its safe to say that -50% is an absolute minimum.

The 6000 was up to 499 just a mere hour ago.. the next two ... 5600,5400 went up dramatically too... I checked them again and they have seem to fallen back down..... I suppose it was a tactic to to get someone to panic buy ....... or a web fluke..........dunno
