Can i run these 2 cards?

I have a 'Inno3D GeForce GTX 260 FreezerX2' and im getting a 'Gainward Nvidia Geforce GTX 580 1536Mb Graphics Card'

motherboard
ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 - AMD 880G - Socket AM3 - PCI-E 2.0 (x16) - DDR3 2000(OC) - SATA 6Gb/s - SATA RAID - ATX

So can i run both cards on the motherboard? would it be worth it?

what do you mean over kill? why?
  3. You will be better off without it to be honest , the extra heat and power isn't worth the trouble.
  4. you most probably run into driver problems since they are not the same GPU

is the GeForce GTX 260 anygood? coz all my game run slow..
  6. Its an old card, the 580 GTX is much much better.
  7. Better off just running the GTX580 assuming you have a PSU that can handle it. You can't run them in SLI and the 580 can handle the PhysX effects if you have a game that uses them.
  8. The 260 will only be processing PhysX in some games... Which is not too common. Don't bother with the 260.
