Geforce 8800 gt hardware problems

When i connect my graphic card with the pc the pc starts for a second and then shuts down. Can anyone help me with this problem. Before this problem when i used to star my pc the screen used to get green lines on it and the system always got stuck

Bad video memory. Graphics card is gone.

You can try the oven bake trick as it is otherwise completely useless.

Google oven bake graphics card for some tutorial vids. I know one other person on this forum I made this recommendation to that did it and was successful in resotring their card.

This is no sure thing, but what have you got to lose? Just follow the instructions carefully.
