Greetings!

first of all i want to apologise for my (possible) incorrect spelling, english is not my native language.
but i'm going to try to adress my problem the best i can do!

2 months ago i've upgraded my GPU from a old GTS250 to a new Sapphire HD6850,
ever since then i seem to be experiencing graphical distortions on my screen..
This usually happens when i'm playing games or when i'm viewing websites
with warm, vibrant colors.

I've made some pictures of it, the image you can see is the background of a website;

Made a video aswell for clarification, when i zoom into the wall nothing happens, when i turn around it seems to 'activate':

My pc specifications aswell;

Windows 7 Home Premium
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, 2400 MHz (9 x 267)
4096 MB (DDR2-667 DDR2 SDRAM)
AMD Radeon HD 6850 (1024 MB)

Help would be greatly appreciated!

Regards,

Milan

Did you uninstall the old drivers using driver sweep. If you haven't use that program. It's free. And remove all NVIDIA driver and AMD Catalyst drivers. Restart PC and reinstall the newest AMD drivers. That should solve your problem. Good luck!!!

You should run driver sweeper in safe mode. reboot and run again. Then install ati drivers. If it still artifacts, try to run CCC and check your temps and speed, I was getting similar issues with my 5770 and the drivers auto overclocked my card I set it back to stock and the problem is gone. If none of that helps your power supply might not be enough for the new card.

Overheating will cause this, a power supply running too low may also do this. Check the overclocking automatically as in the post above, make sure the clock speeds are at stock, and you'd want to have a good brand 400+ watt power supply to run a 6870, 450+ if you have a few hard-drives, several fans, things like that.
