Hi guys time to get some expert advice.. :D I m planning to buy a power supply for my build(upgrade)..i have simplified the choice into 2 they are:
Corsair GS600 &&& XFX Core Edition PRO 550W
this is for a gaming rig(like FPS & racing games)so something good & reliable needed & i cant go over them in terms of price.

Few things i got after some reading..

Corsair GS600 Vs XFX Core Edition PRO 550W

Corsair GS600 pros
1.600 Watts ie,more +12v watts & amps ie,48
2.140mm Fan

Cons
1.80 Plus
2. 3 years warranty

XFX Core Edition PRO 550W

Pros
1.5 years Warranty
2.75$
3.80 Plus Bronze
4.Seasonic inside

Cons
1.Not 600watts so 44 amps on 12v rail
2. 120mm fan

My Current Build

Phenom II X4 955 BE 3.2ghz(will OC in future upto 3.8 or may b 4ghz after getting a cooler)
Asus M5A88-M
8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 Ram 2x4gb @ 1333Mhz
Radeon HD 4650 DDR2 1GB (will upgrade to HD 7850 or 660Ti in near future,OC if needed for 1600x900 res,No CFx or SLi)
1 Seagate HDD
1 DVD RW
Fans
2 Front 120mm
1 BACK 120MM
1 140MM TOP
1 140MM SIDE
1 120mm Cpu cooler fan
I know both are most suited for my current build(HD 4650) but i m more concern about the future upgrades(HD 7850 or 660Ti) i will make so which one will be the best bang for bug..????also durability & reliability matters..

as most of our folks said that xfx pro 550w is the way to go.let me convince you-
1-GS series is made by CWT(correct me if i am wrong) where as the xfx is rebranded seasonic.in terms of power supplies, seasonic>all
2-xfx pro is more efficient
3-CWT has higher failure rates.
3-xfx unit is cheaper
4-550w and 44 amps are more than enough to power up your rig.
5-xfx is a better unit.this is the bottom line because hellfire said so!
good luck with your choice.
